Even though the film was a little underwhelming, it did bring GI Joe into the 21st century, updating the classic 1980’s toy concept - a specialized military force tasked with battling a ruthless evil organization known as Cobra.
I liked the concept, and the quote that kept coming up in the trailers and the movie itself - since it’s a philosophy that many would apply if they could - “When all else fails, we don’t.”
